Odyssey Groups
Testimony Groups: A safe community of people committed to being honest, open, and transparent with each other and themselves. At their core Testimony groups exist to provide support to individuals struggling with difficult circumstances. Testimony Groups are facilitated by a staff member that gently reinforces boundaries and helps to interpret some of the more difficult portions of stories. In this safe environment, confidence grows stronger as a result of the acceptance received after honestly expressing one’s true self. Testimony Groups are a time of connection with an authentic community that ultimately leads to a deeper connection with one’s self and within relationships.
Over the course of 12 weeks, Testimony Groups will walk through the concepts:

THE CONVERSATION NIGHT
A community has been created for people of all walks of life to come together to hear STORIES, see ART, listen to MUSIC, enjoy FOOD, and experience the “CONVERSATION.” Imagine a place with acceptance, validation, and love; a safe place to be real and be with others who are also wanting truth and meaningful discussions.; place to feel as though “personally invited” to share in the stories, discussions, and life experiences.
The night consists of:
♦ Music ♦Singing ♦Story telling ♦Open discussions ♦Displays for original pieces of art♦Creative interaction ♦Readings ♦Food
The nights consists of new experiences for all the senses and opens the door for people from all walks of life; people who might never otherwise interact, to meet in a fun and non-threatening setting.
The “Conversation” is the community to help people live out and experience purpose and allow others to experience the truth of EACH OTHER!
